- Apr 04, 2019-

Usually the flame retardant fabric we imagined is not burning in everyone's impression. In fact, the flame-retardant cloth is not really dead on fire directly, but it will be extinguished immediately after leaving the flame. There are corresponding flame retardant standardssuch as EN470-1,EN531、EN532、NFPA2112、NFPA70E used for the test standard.

The flame-retardant fabric is divided into two types: inherently flame retardant and flame retardanttopically treated. The finishing flame retardant is divided into one-time and durable flame retardant.

Inherently flame retardant, also known as permanent flame retardant fabric. It is the work done in the early stage of the entire weaving process. It is mainly made of flame-retardant fiber knitted into a fabric, and its flame retardant effect is permanent. Generally it can be maintained until washing more than 50 times. It is usually used in apparel fabrics.

flame-retardanttopically treated fabrics are ordinary fabrics that have been treated with flame retardants in the subsequent dyeing and finishing. The biggest disadvantage is that the flame retardant effect disappears or significantly declines after washing. Usually, we apply it in some occasions with less washing times. Such as hotel curtains
